After joining ROTC, if a student likes the program and has maintained a 2.5 cum. Army ROTC has 2- and 3-year scholarships that pay for tuition, books ($225), and fees ($350) and provides $100 per month tax free in subsistence pay during the school year. The student’s obligation is active duty or reserve service. French Club Seeks New Members by Robin Longaker “Parlez-vous francais?” Even if you don’t speak French, you can still “join the French club. Everyone is welcome to participate in the activities for this year, some of which include watching French films and eating in French restaurants. Still not convinced? The club moderator, Elizabeth Crocco, as well as the club president, Diana Miceri, are planning a trip to Paris, France. It will take place sometime in January of 1992. An exact date has not been set. Imagine starting off the day by touring the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre, and Notre Dame. Next, who could resist shopping in the fashion capital of the world? Finally, after a long day of sightseeing and shopping, you could stroll down the Champs- Elysees and take in the Paris nightlife. A trip to the city of romance is a definite cure for burnt- out college students! If any of this appeals to you, now is the time to become involved in the French Club. Meetings are held every other Tuesday in Room 217, Main Building. Anyone interested in French culture is encouraged to attend. His first priority is to instill unity among the many different clubs and organizations. He wants ALL students to be aware that student government is about and for the students. Chris is very happy about the involvement of the students in events this year; his only concern is that the participation is on-going.
