All clubs are governed and coor- dinated by the Undergraduate Student Association (USA), the student govern- ment organization on campus. USA is the formal representative of campus. students to the campus faculty senate and the administration. USA initiates legislation concerning student welfare, provides an opportuni- ty.for the expression and development of leadership skills, creates and main- tains campus customs and traditions, and coordinates all student body func- tions. The organization has several com- mittees which carry out its objectives. Council positions are open to all students and executive members are elected each spring for the following academic year. USA also represents the Delaware County Campus in the Council of Branch Campus Student Govern- ments (COBCSG), which coordinates government at Penn State’s Common- wealth Campuses. If you have leader- ship experience, or you'd like to get in- volved, contact the Undergraduate Stu- dent Association office in the student af- fairs modular building. This year’s president is Terry Mon- tgomery, Vice President Bill Jarrell, Mary Sadiorick is Treasurer and Leslie Miner is Secretary. The club activities encourage growth and creativity in the fields of video and photography. If members do not own equipment or cameras, they can use the following equipment from the Camera Club or the Instructional Services Department: (2) 35mm range finder cameras; (1) 8mm movie camera; (1) well equipped darkroom for black & white and color processing; (1) black & white video camera; (1) color video camera; (2) BETA I video recorders; (2) U-MATIC video recorders. Club members produce weekly video tapes for the campus and sponsors photo contests & shows throughout the year. The Camera Club also participates in money raising activities for the club. The cheerleaders would like to extend a sincere welcome to the incoming freshmen and returning upper classmen. Let us tell you a little about our selves. The squad consists of 10 cheerleaders and 4 alternates. We cheer for the soccer and basketball teams here at Delco. Sign-ups will take place Tues., August 31 and Wed., Sept. 1 during registration.
