Shrigley, pro- fessor of education at The Pennsylvania State Univer- sity. Dr. Shrigley teaches a course in classroom manage- ment available to aspiring teachers in Penn State's Col- lege of Education. He says the course, which he developed and first taught last year, ‘‘is designed to minimize student disruption to the degree necessary to keep the learning act afloat." “That's more difficult than it was a generation ago,’ he notes. ‘‘Many social forces contribute to the pro- blem.
