Classes will end noon on Friday, May 19, and the annual spring picnic will be the first event of the day. A talent show and a dance will follow, Friday night. Plans for Saturday, May 20, include a morning carnival, a road rally from 12 p.m.-8 p.m., an after- noon field day, and a film festival in the evening. The outdoor concert will take place on Sunday afternoon, May 21. “All procedes will be donated to the Easter Seals Home because we feel that we’ve helped others and neglected our neighbors across the street,”’ said SGA president, Tom Lordan. The question of camping out was raised April 14 at the SGA meeting. ‘‘What I've picked up without directly asking ‘can we or can’t we’, said Lordan, ‘““is that we must contact health officials, the state police and other authorities before making plans.” It has not yet been decided whether the building will be open for the weekend. “We must have decent sized work crews, but if they get to be a ridiculous size, nothing will get done,’ caid Lordan. Volunteers will be divided into three groups, one for each day of activities. Tom Lordan, SGA president and driving force behind Block Weekend, has some- thing to smile about as his personal pet project, the outdoor rock concert, draws near. “Each crew will be solely responsible for the day assigned to it,”’ added Lordan, ‘‘if the day is a flop we’ll all know who to blame.”’ SGA vice president Kevin O’Neill heads the crew for Friday, Blondell Reynolds, Donna DePutron, and Russ Gallagher, head the Saturday crew, and Tom Lordan heads the Sunday crew. “There will be no one person working on two days,’”’ said Lordan, ‘‘we want each person to devote all his effort to one thing, and make that really great.’ Dinner-Dance in June On June 2, R.0.T.C., the reserve officers train- ing corp, will hold the annual military ball at the Valley Forge Officers Club, Valley Forge. The ball, which will be semi-formal, will be a combined awards and dinner ceremony.
