Increased Number
Enrolled at H.U.C.
A total of 119 students are en
rolled for the present year at the
Hazleton Undergraduate Center,
making this the largest enrollment
that the Center has ever had, ac
cording to the announcement of
Mr. Coleman Herpel, administra
tive head.
When the Center was organized
in 1934, 36 students enrolled for
the first year. Since that time, the
enrollment has gradually increased
until it has reached its present
peak.
The Center has now its maxi
mum enrollment, according to Mr.
Herpel, and unless some provisions
are made for enlarging the quar
ter, no increase in enrollment will
be possible.
