"We've tried to set it up so that
some material may be used in

are some students who write
pretty good poetry."

hold a spring concert. The choir
will be losing some people next
term and those participating will
be the deciding factor for the
music picked. In the past the
chorus has sung at All U-day and
Disneyworld and performed
music from Godspell, The Wiz,
and A Chorus Line. But, Dr.
Jumpeter_ feels that if he could,
he would really be interested in
getting ". . .students involved in
music that is sung in four year
college choirs (such as Handel's
Messiah)."
This term the chorus consists of
twenty voices, all non-music ma
jors. "Between thirty-five and
forty (voices) is a good number
for us . . . we need tenors and
basses." To become a member of
the choir no prior experience is
required. In fact, most of the
students do not know how to read
music.
