The tournament was,organized by Dr. Montjar. Pin lists in. cluded John Dougher and Den nis Gramata. John Dougher won a very close match in the finals 4-6, 9-8, 7-6. Organized on a club type basis for the first tine this year, five cross country en thusiasts journeyed to the Schuylkill Campus on October 22 to compete in a it:admen.. lar meet with the Luzern* County Community College, Cap.. itol Campus, and Schuylkill Campus. Xerl Lutz of the Hazleton Campus covered the rigorous 4.3 Idles course in 26:19, placing him in the sixth place overall. Other participants from Higbacres' were Rich Shama, Bob Wydook, Joe Washko, and Nark Daaiter. Dave Gladey was unable to at tend. The group also traveled to University Park on Saturday, October 26 to compete in an in ter campus cross country championship. Informal competition in men's volleyball has included some exciting play between a faculty team comprised of Covert, Breckenridge, Krone Hiller, Caccese, and Biacohi, andoa student team which eluded Harvilla, Perfetta, Snakitch, and others. The members of the vo metss volleyball teawvhich is coached by Mrs. Jago, in. andel sophomores Patti Blest, Debby Burgess, Lori Hackmeis ter, Peggy Bickel, Nancy Page, Sus Green, Cindy Parsons, Sue Kriebel, and Sue Petrilla.
