PARNSSUS SOCIETY NEWS
On Tuesday evening, April 26,
the Parnassus Chapter of the
Keystone E onor Society held a
meeting lor the purpose of in
ducting new officers for the
... new officers for the com
ing year. The Chapter is under
the guidance of Mr. Ralph
Crawford, who introduced the
new members to the aims and
rules of the Society.
Following Mr. Crawford's talk,
President Joseph Zola formally
inducted the following new
members:

an honorpry Parnassus member
ship.
The Society, old and new mem
bers, then elceted the offi
cers for the coming year. They
are the following:
President - Pete Maschak
Vice Pres. - Berenice Lester
Sec.-Treas. -Bella Ann Setzer
Parnassus Society was founded
on May 23, 1952, for the pur
pose of recognizing students
who exhibit a sense of leader
ship and academic achievement.
To be eligible for membership,
a student must maintain at
least a 2.scumulative average,
and must actively participate
in at least two extra-curricu
lar activitees.
