The Chapter is under the guidance of Mr. Ralph Crawford, who introduced the new members to the aims and rules of the Society. Following Mr. Crawford's talk, President Joseph Zola formally inducted the following new members: Sophomores: Larry Dickinson Ed Haburshak Kane Hoefling Nancy Israel Pete Maschak Mary Soltis Frsshmen* Joan Agardi Eileen Astleford Pearl Ann Buchert _~...,-, Sharon Fellin David Kulig Robert Landro Berenice Lester Bella Ann Setzer Steve W Mr. Joseph McMallus received an honorpry Parnassus member ship. The Society, old and new mem bers, then elceted the offi cers for the coming year. They are the following: President - Pete Maschak Vice Pres. - Berenice Lester Sec.-Treas. -Bella Ann Setzer Parnassus Society was founded on May 23, 1952, for the pur pose of recognizing students who exhibit a sense of leader ship and academic achievement. To be eligible for membership, a student must maintain at least a 2.scumulative average, and must actively participate in at least two extra-curricu lar activitees.
