~ f) E t A The Theta Sigma Pi Sorority was founded In the autumn of 1949, and it has grown, until today 1t Is one of the most stimulating activities which our Highacres Campus offers. The purpose of the Sorority Is to encourage bettor understanding and practice of the social amenities among our young women. ° On the first and third Thursday evenings of each month, the Sorority gathers in the Highacres Main Lounge for their business meetings. During the business meetings the girls make plans for their big events. At the close of each semester, the girls have a banquet at which time, gifts are exchanged and "secret pals" are revealed. The biggest undertaking of the Sorority is the planning of the annual Kay Day Celebration. The long-range plans of the sorority include a picnic reunion to be held in August of 1957.
