February 14, 1957 THE HIGHACRES COLLEGIAN THE PARNASSUS INITIATION Have you ever wondered what the Par nassus Honor Society is? Tt is a society to enrich student life at the Highacres Campus, encouraging both academic study and positive participation in organized activities. Membership is open to those students who have completed one or more semesters of college work, and who have an all-college average of 2,5, plus active participation in at least two activities. At the annual fall initiation ceremony held on Wednesday, January 30, 1957, in Main Lounge, Miss Lyla Berish, Miss Joann Kenvin, Miss Martha Preputnick, and Mr. Karl Rekas became members of the society. If at the end of the twelve-weeks period, a student attains an all-college average of 2.80 and participates in two activities, that student is entitled to pledge-ship. Miss Rosemary Arlotto has been pledged to the society and is well on her way to fulfill the requirements for full membership.
