Letters to the Editor Cont. from 4 There has been en effort to make Behrend an "action" campus, 'hut the students refuse to respond. S.G.A. is not a social organization; it is a governing body. Recent legis lation has made it mandatory for every organization to sponsor one activity each term or face loss of its charter at the discretion of the S.G.A. This was intended to stir up interest in otherwise dormant organizations. So much has been done for the bene fit of the campus dullards that it's almost becoming absurd. And as for those critics found in such abundance ...If you know so much that you are in a position to criticize, why don't you make some changes. "Must we bicker, John? You know that 'All men love all women.' " "Well Sal, it's like this. 'No man trusts any woman.' " "Honey, rMen would be a lot better off if they'd quit trying to understand women and just enjoy having them around.' " "Must I again tell you my favor ite quip? 'Let us rail women, scorn and flout 'em...' and Sal, you have heard the rest." But have you heard the rest? Just a mite taste of the fun in the Behrend Readers` Performance at ':00 pm March 2 & 3, OB Building. Irate Observer by Jane Gates MODEL U.N. BLOOD TYPING SOON Campus nurse Mrs. Lobaugh sug gested to S.G.A. through Jim Bebko that the Red Cross be permitted to blood type Behrend Students so that this information will be available in time of emergency. S.G.A. approved the idea. Blood typing will probably be done by the Red Cross on a voluntary vasis at Spring Registration. This is a good idea, because if one is hurt and needs blood quickly, the type will already be known. Also, blood types of possible donors will also be known.
