ROVING REPORTER SURVEY ON BOOSTERS Do you think a Boosters Club for athletic efents is necessary? Why? Would you Join? Do you think Boosters have accomplished something this year? PAT BRADLEY: Yes, Ido think a Boosters Club is necessary, but not for the rea sons for which it exists now. It should be set up for publicity, for sales of stickers, pennants, and programs, and for making the members of the team appre ciated on campus. I would join if I thought these were the goals of the organ ization. From what I have observed, the Boosters C'ub is lacking any outstanding accomplishments. FAY ROLLER: I think a Boosters Club is necessary, and I joined. There wasn't any publicity or support for the team before. From a member the Boosters needs more support and welcomes new members/ r THIS IS YOUR ILSTINQUISHEb lEFtt.,l OF Situ - DE-1.4T iIF - FrtißS G-00 1 0 WitsiTEK ERivi JAN RUDLAK: As a commuting student who doesn't spend too much extra time at Behrend, I know very little about this club. lam int- i erested in promoting school spirit 1 and this club sounds like a good wa y of doing that - but I don't think its purposes are publicized enough.i As in many of the other clubs at Behrend, there should be more pub ji - licity to interest the student body and gain new members. IDRIE BAIOG: I definitely think a Boosters club is necessary. Such; things are needed on this campus 4 where things are sparsely attended. It has accomplished a great deal just in forming. However it should! not stop there. They should keep getting members and maybe sell re freshments at games. continued page 7
