LETTERS TO TH - 3 EDITOR I would like to thank all the Behrend students who attended Psi Sigma Upsilon's Jammy on rTovomber sth. This dance, with almost three hundred tickets sold, was one of the most successful dances that Behrend has ever had. There is nothing more plensing than to attend a social function on campus and see it well attended, nut only by Behrend students but also by students from other schools of higher education locat6d in the Erie area. This dance helped to prove that there is a Behrend Campus in existence and that it isn't necessary for one to go across the state line in order to find something to do. sincerely hope that future dances et Behrend can be this successful and even more so. I would also like to thank all the girls in the organization who played a big part in making the dance a success. Thanks arc also in order for the staff of the Nittany Cub for helping to promote the dance Dear 11r. Editor, The last edition of the showed a marked improvement over the previous two as far as article content was concerned. However, K was quite dismayed over one article entitled "Dorm News." A more appropriate title would have been "Frivolous Dorm Gossip," because the article was not much more than that. Everyone likes gossip, but when it appears in a newspaper it should be in good taste such as that in "Bits of Pehrend" in the first issue. "Dorm News" contained cutting and offensive remarks which were wholly unnecessary. "Bits of Behrend" was better also in that it was not confined to one group. The newspaper is for and should be about all the students, not just one portion of them. Dorm news can be inc:orporated into a column of Yours truly, Kathie Rutkowski Ti - tt.an7r Cub of this type, Please try to keep trash out of the newspaper.
