    Faculty Exhibit
An exhibit combining the work of its
art and communications faculty in a
college or university is a tradition on
many campuses, and the current show
at the Morrison Gallery of the new
library honors that tradition by bring
ing together the art of four of its facul
ty: Nancy Mendes of Etters, Instructor
of Humanities; Linda Mylin Ross of
Lancaster, Assistant Professor of
Education and Humanities; Victor
Viser of York, Assistant Professor of
Humanities and Communication; and
Samuel P. Winch of Harrisburg,
Communications Program Coordinator
and Associate Professor of Humanities
and Communication. The show will
run through March 21
The Psychology Program will host its last colloquium for the Spring
2003 semester on Tuesday, April 1 at 12:30 p.m. in Room 302
Library. Dr. Richard Abrams from Dickinson College will speak on
"Semantic and Contextual Memory in the Unconscious Analysis of
Words." Light refreshments will be provided immediately following
the colloquium in the Morrison Gallery. Everyone is welcome to
attend.
Dr. Philip C. Singer, the Dan Okun Distinguished Professor
of Environmental Engineering at University of North
Carolina at Chapel Hill and AEESP Distinguished Lecturer,
will visit Penn State Harrisburg on March 17. Dr. Singer is a
member of the National Academy of Engineering and well
known in water and wastewater field. He will meet with
graduate students and give a seminar "Formation and Control
of Disinfection By-Products in Drinking Water" in TLIIB.
The seminar is scheduled for 3 to 4 p.m., followed by a
reception. The event is open to public.
"Real Tips from Real Recruiters" will be the topic of the 4th annual
Career Forum sponsored by the adult honor society, ASL, and Career
Services. Join us on March 26 from 5 to 6 p.m. in the Gallery Lounge
to meet and hear from four employers who interview and recruit col
lege grads. The employers participating represent a variety of busi
nesses and industries (computer/technical, human services, manufac
turer/retail) as well as state government. So, no matter what your
major or career goal, there is sure to be relevant information to help
you in your career planning and job hunt preparation. This will be an
open forum with plenty of time for questions and interaction.
Refreshments will be served. Additional funding is provided by the
Student Activities Fee and a grant from the Adult Learner
Commission. Everyone is invited to join us for this interactive panel
discussion. No pre-registration required.
The Liaison Committee to the Commission for Women and Penn
State Harrisburg's Alumni Office will present a panel program
"Women in the Workplace with College alumnae and women lead
ers of the student body from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, March 19 in the
Gallery Lounge. Supported by a Student Activity Fee grant.

Free fitness and exercise classes led by Andres Gutierrez began Jan. 13.
The classes are held every Monday and Wednesday, 5:30 to 6:30 p.m., in
the Multipurpose Room of the Capital Union Building. The classes are
free to Penn State students, staff, faculty, and current Penn State Alumni

Everybody knows food. In acknowledgement, this year's International
Film Feast -- "Film du Jour" will star food -- as sustenance, as cultural

piece chosen from another film to complement the main feature, two big
weeks of free movies will begin on: Tuesday, March 25, when the fea
ture "Big Night" will show along with the dinner scene from "Avalon."
Wednesday, March 26, "Babette's Feast" is paired with the infamous
eating scenefrom "Tom Jones" Thursday, March 27, shows "Gold
Rush" as takeout with "The Discreet Charm of the Bourgeoisie" in full
Friday, March 28 will have the lobster scene from "Annie Hall" paired
with "Mostly Martha." Tuesday, April 1, will have the restaurant scene
from "When Harry Met Sally" accompanying the feature "The Cook.
The Thief, His Wife, and Her Lover." Wednesday, April 2, will show a
scene from "Animal House" and the feature "Eat Drink Man Woman"
The series ends on Friday, April 4, with the diner scene from "Five
Easy Pieces" and the feature "Delicatessen" All showings will be in the
Kunkel Auditorium of the Olmsted Building; Tuesdays, Wednesdays,
and Thursdays; showings start at 8:30 p.m. and Fridays, Mar 28 and
April 4, will start at 7 p.m. All showings are free admission. Any ques

Capital Christian Fellowship
The Penn State Harrisburg CCF chapter

tion's weekly meetings on Thursdays from
