Faculty Exhibit An exhibit combining the work of its art and communications faculty in a college or university is a tradition on many campuses, and the current show at the Morrison Gallery of the new library honors that tradition by bring ing together the art of four of its facul ty: Nancy Mendes of Etters, Instructor of Humanities; Linda Mylin Ross of Lancaster, Assistant Professor of Education and Humanities; Victor Viser of York, Assistant Professor of Humanities and Communication; and Samuel P. Winch of Harrisburg, Communications Program Coordinator and Associate Professor of Humanities and Communication. The show will run through March 21 The Psychology Program will host its last colloquium for the Spring 2003 semester on Tuesday, April 1 at 12:30 p.m. in Room 302 Library. Dr. Richard Abrams from Dickinson College will speak on "Semantic and Contextual Memory in the Unconscious Analysis of Words." Light refreshments will be provided immediately following the colloquium in the Morrison Gallery. Everyone is welcome to attend. Dr. Philip C. Singer, the Dan Okun Distinguished Professor of Environmental Engineering at University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and AEESP Distinguished Lecturer, will visit Penn State Harrisburg on March 17. Dr. Singer is a member of the National Academy of Engineering and well known in water and wastewater field. He will meet with graduate students and give a seminar "Formation and Control of Disinfection By-Products in Drinking Water" in TLIIB. The seminar is scheduled for 3 to 4 p.m., followed by a reception. The event is open to public. "Real Tips from Real Recruiters" will be the topic of the 4th annual Career Forum sponsored by the adult honor society, ASL, and Career Services. Join us on March 26 from 5 to 6 p.m. in the Gallery Lounge to meet and hear from four employers who interview and recruit col lege grads. The employers participating represent a variety of busi nesses and industries (computer/technical, human services, manufac turer/retail) as well as state government. So, no matter what your major or career goal, there is sure to be relevant information to help you in your career planning and job hunt preparation. This will be an open forum with plenty of time for questions and interaction. Refreshments will be served.
