My man Fred Durst. . .Have you ever seen
Fight Club? If memory serves, there is a
part in the movie where the question, "If
you could fight any celebrity, who would
it be?" was asked. For me, it would be

win! Even if he beat my ass I'd come back
with a bat full of nails and smash his face!
Poser! Wanna-be! Yeah, "Rollin!," "My

Durst if he was on fire!

Ah, B*Witched. I lovingly refer to these
four Irish lasses as "my girls." Why? I

Once again, Jay Z's outdone himself with
his fifth album. It definitely has his ear-

pleasing beats and his ill lyrics. The CD is
a must for you to get. The phattest songs
are "Give It to Me," "Parking Lot Pimpin"
and "This Can't Be Life." Pick it up, now!

It's gotta be a much iller place than I

You may have seen Somerville on The
Comedy Network, MTV or at Mardi Gras
or the Superbowl. Somerville has also
done television and radio voice-overs for
commercials and he has performed at
Notre Dame, the University of
Connecticut, University of California and
Trinity College in Dublin, Ireland.
Somerville grew up in New Jersey as
the youngest of three boys and he claims
he is the least funny member of his fami
ly . After college, Somerville landed a job
with an advertising company, but he
quickly learned that office life was not for
him. Although Somerville discovered
stand-up comedy through a dare from his
friends, he says he instantly fell in love
with it and that it just comes naturally to
him.

Somerville's comedy routine provid
ed a great study break. Laughing at his
jokes was a way for students to relieve
some of the stress brought on by exams
and papers. His jokes were funny and his
act included some basic topics students
can relate to about college life like drink
ing, dating and relationships, family, and
summer vacations. Somervillle interacted
very well with the audience and his
comedic timing was impeccable. Alison
Angelo, a PSU student and a resident of
Meade Heights, said, "He was very funny.
I would go see him again." Angelo felt
she could relate to Somerville's jokes,
especially about dating. So, the next time
you are in New York City, check out one
of Somerville's shows at either Caroline's
Comic Strip or Stand Up New York.
