"Less Than Zero" portrays the lives of several elite teenagers dealing with the problems of the upper class society. They encounter the realities of life and death. These seven friends learn about love, defeat, respect and the power of friendship. Video pick: Knight Moves Bob Regular Capital Times Staff It was a rainy and cold Saturday night, with a slight aura of boredom in the air. With all this dim weather, I was in the mood for a movie. I figure my chances are 1 in 20 that I will be satisfied by my selection. I make the effort, roll the dice and go to the video store anyway. After arriving, I apply for a membership and am instructed by the happy cicrk to fill out their documents in triplicate. Once the government-style paperwork is complete, they inform me that I am now worthy of renting CAPITAL TIMES FEATURES / 7 October 4,1993 a movie; this is not a good start. I then wander around the store attempting to locate a movie that I haven't heard bad comments about or seen before. "Knight Moves" is the lucky winner that gets to go home with me for the evening. IT WAS FANTASTIC! "Knight Moves" centers around a brilliant chess player that is under suspicion for several murders. Don't worry if you are not a chess fan; the movie has next to nothing to do with chess. This movie grabs your attention and carries you through a roller coaster of suspense for two hours.
