Six students attending the Strategic
Planning Meeting on Tuesday, Sept. 15,
in the gallery lounge presented enough
questions and ideas about reducing the
college's operating costs to keep
administrators busy for an hour-and-a-half.
"Where are all the students?" asked Bill
Stoner, a graduate student representative
for the Strategic Planning Managment and
Enrollment Committee. "If I hadn't read
about this meeting in the Capital Times, I
would have missed it."
An unidentified student questioned the
parking fee and promised to organize a

at PSH had postponed for two years. Since
the Meade Heights area is part of the
Housing and Food Services Department,
no parking fee would be necessary for that
area.
Many students complained that "all the
good stuff is in University Park, yet we
all pay the same tuition." The students
went on to ask how the PSH campus can
obtain their fair share of funding.
South's answer to this concern was that
a copy of the budget is available in the
library.
He also stated that the administration
hopes to have a rought draft of the three
year plan developed by mid-October,
giving students more time and
opportunity to submit any written
recommendations to the PSH
administrators.
