A scenic train ride on the Middletown & Hummelstown Railroad, a visit to Indian Echo Caverns and dinner at Alfred's Victorian would make for a pleasurable Saturday. For the more casual person, perhaps an afternoon of Champion Miniature Golf, driving golf balls at Tom's Tee in Hummelstown and a pizza from one of Middletown's many pizza shops would sound better. Why not take a tour of Three Mile Island then quench your thirst at one of the many establishments in this old town? Many students come to this campus and think that Jamesway is the biggest attraction in Middletown. Of course, it's not a booming metropolis like the Big Apple, but for a small, historic town, it is quite nice. Two large cheese pizzas were ordered from each of the three shops listed below. None of the shops was aware that a comparison was being made. Each of the staff members who participated was given one slice from each establishment Students were asked to take one bite of pizza then a drink before biting into the next slice, to insure that their taste buds would be objective. Students were warned that if they ate more than a bite of one piece before tasting another, that their ballots would be disqualified. The results are listed below. Number one is the more favorable pizza shop for the category listed. The results were close, thus confirming the fact that everyone's taste is different. * This is not an endorsement of one pizza shop over another.
