Briefly Weather Day Office Due to constantly changing weather conditions, a “Weather Day Office” has been set up by the Campus Relations staff to inform students who call of class cancellations. The office will be open from 6:30 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Friday, during severely inclement weather only. Local radio and television stations will be notified only if the school is completely closed. The “Weather Day Office” phone number is: 948-6000. Returning Women discussion The Family Protection Act, the Reagan administration and women, and an individual’s influence on government will be topics of a discussion lead by Dr. Carol Nechemias. The Returning Women organization has planned this discussion which will be held Thursday, Jan. 27 at 8 p.m. in the BCAC Lounge, room W-132. The discussion is open to the public. Financial Aid deadline According to James H. Lane, Financial Aid Counselor, Feb. 15 is the deadline for completing the 1983-84 Financial Aid forms. Students with a GPA of at least 3.0 are urged to file for the Kunkle Scholarship and University Academic Scholarship, which can be found in the Admissions/Financial Aid Office, Room 214, Multi-Purpose Building.
