Listed below are some points of interest for the new or returning veteran here on campus. Counseling Center offers classes Beginning on Wed., Oct. 3,1979 from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. and continuing on four con secutive Wednesdays (through Oct. 24, 1979) the Counseling Center will offer a Study Ef fectiveness Training course for interested students at Cap itol Campus. Areas to be covered in clude, studying for exams, anxiety over tests, taking bet ter notes, preparing term and research papers, managing time effectively, studying ef fectively, as well as other topics of interest to students. Participants will have the chance to work individually as well as in groups on problems of concern. Marian Krieger, Counsel ing Center Coordinator and Ed Beck, Counselor, will be the workshop staff. Materials and references will be distributed during the sessions. There is no charge to stu dents for these workshops, but pre-registration prior to Mon.,Oct. 1, 1979 is reques ted. Students may pre-register by stopping by the center during regular office hours, 8 a.m. to noon and 1 to 5 p.m., Mon. through Fri. as well as 5:30 to 8 p.m. Mon. and Thur. evenings.
