Beyond Dignity and Freedom
by Michael Blank
Oozing from my pores, I possessed limitless freedom
Binding constriction diminished with the physical
body eliminated.
Sure, my visceral and blood still functioned.
But the real essence of myself emerged;
And my amphorous body slumped off the chair.
I touched the sun, inhabitating its apple core.
Oozing upon the Grand Canyon,
I experienced Union as none had before.
Unsheathed, Unshackled, Intermingling with its beauty,
Intermingling with its beauty,
I was the sunset prevailing upon her slopes
The sea embraced me with emerald waves.
Swirling down a whirlpool,
I entered the black crevices of spawning life,
Here I planted the embryonic seed,
For future generations to harvest.

THE CAPITOLIST
Smilin'
Faces
by Steve Wesley,2
& Steve Rosenzweig
A hearty spring welcome to
all new juniors and returning
vets.
This semester Smilin' Faces is
trying to bring more campus
new to the students. Here are a
few news items from our many
reporters.
Wayne Siegfried was mistaken
for a zipper when he stood
sideways and stuck out his
tongue.
In Room W-357 Dr. Susskind
was viciously accused by Dr.
Miller as being the third Smith
brother.
After six weeks of
investigation by the Food and
Drug Administration, they filed
a report freeing Vendorville of
any charges that they transmit
VD.
Speaking of reports, the Pyle
Report recently published its
second annual hemorrhoid
survey. It finds that 26% of
Captiol Campus teachers have
hemorrhoids while the remaining
74% are perfect assholes.
The newspaper has been
deluged with phone calls
regarding the sex course being
taught by Miss Prager and Miss
Krieger. We can now report to
our readers that there will be no
oral final.
And finally in our news. Last
week Dr. McDermott attended
his first Meade Heights party.
Upon awakening the following
morning with a tremendous
hang-over, Dr. McDermott
noticed a bra and pair of panties
in the bed next to him. When
seeing the garments in the empty
bed, intelligent sources quoted
our new Provost as saying, "I
can't believe t ate the whole
thing."
History's Scrapbook:
One year ago today Mike
Prete was walking around the
streets in South Philly asking
people if they had any extra
tickets to the Phillies game.
Recent grad Bobby Polis says
Hi to everyone. Also, if anyone
finds his cat or his brown shoes
they can keep them.
Limerick of the Week:
Here I sit all broken hearted
Paid a dime and only farted
Though all was not bliss
Because I had a good piss
Then I pulled up my pants and
departed.
Trivia Question of the Week:
What was the name of the
principal in the "Leave It To
Beaver" show?
Hint: It wasn't Gus the
fireman.
If you have this week's trivia
answer call 944-9751 or
944-9710. The first person with
the correct answer wins a match
box. Also, any contributions to
this column would be
appreciated at the same phone
numbers or at the Capitolist
office.
