I don't care (about the library) cause I'm leaving in a year and it's no big deal. I just go to the library to study, I don't have any research to do so it really doesn't bother me." In case yod haven't noticed, Behrend is building a new bookstore. This has upset a lot of people here because they feel that the money should be spent on building a new library. But to others, it doesn't matter. With this in mind we decided to find out for ourselves: How do you feel about Behrend enlarging the bookstore before improving the library? Heather Sizer 2nd semester D US "I think the reason that they're letting the bookstore first is because the plans went through first. I think they were planning on doing the library first but then the budget wasn't right so they just did the bookstore. I think they really should do the library first cause I don't know, it. just makes the campus seem like they're after more money and stuff." Greg Eyerman 4th semester Engineering "They should improve the library because that directly affects the students more than the bookstore. Yeah, they need a new bookstore but I say they should have a new library first." .•;* z" • Bill Hallinan 4th semester Physics "I think it sucks. They're charging us enough in the bookstore for all of these books and they're not giving us a decent facility to study in or giving us enough references to go along with what we need for classes. They should make arrangements for our studies before our wallets." Photos by Marybeth Zawistoski.
