There are

loneliness, depression, and per
sonal struggles. These are just a
few of the things that require
counseling.
It isn't uncommon to encounter
added stress during this crucial
time in a student's life. Students
are urged to take advantage of this
opportunity and may do so by
stopping in or making an appoint
ment with a counselor. Their office
is located in the Glenhill Far
mhouse, room 213. Dr. Eastman is
available Mon. and Fri. and Dr.
Barton is available Tue., Wed.,
and Thurs. from 8:30 to 5:00. They

McGartland instructs two sections
in business writing and one in
organizational writing. Additional-
Allegheny College, where she
taught part-time, McGartland
earned her undergraduate degree in
Gerentology from Penn State and
her Masters in Fine Art from the
University of Pittsburgh. She is an
experienced advertising copywriter
and business writer.
One of McGartland's interests is
poetry. Currently trying to have
some of her work published, she
has received an Academy of
American Poets prize. McGartland
hopes to instruct a creative writing
course in the future.

DiNicola as the Collegian advisor.
She intends to bring in critiques,
seminars and visiting journalists
for the staff and to further
strengthen the paper's business
section.
