The Collegian November 21,1985 Page Nine Former Cub infielder returns as a Cardinal Behrend Alumni, Tom Lawless of the Saint Louis Cardinals, made an appearance on campus Monday, Nov. 18. A 1980 Behrend grad, the Cards infielder returned to his alma mater and received two honors. The first award, presented by Provost and Dean Dr. John M. Lilley, was in the form of a Penn State-Behrend Varsity Sweater. Herb Lauffer, Athletics Direc tor, took over with the presenta tion of the “Tom Lawless Most Valuable Player Award” for members of the Cubs baseball team. 1969-81 Behrend’s Students' are not to park in visitors and/or Staff parking areas at any time, which includes the lots immediately behind the residence halls (except behind Perry Hall). Parking in the Reed Lot is permitted by students with valid parking permits every day from 6:30 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. and anytime Saturday and Sunday. Any other times are in violation. Students may park in any of the student lots, provided they have a valid parking permit. Parking along the roadway or on the grass is not allowed. The only exception to this is when if all coach, Clarence (Shorty) Stoner, now head coach for the Nittany Lions at University Park, was also on hand for the Lawless extravaganza.
