The Behrend’s Women
Volleyball team has been busy
lately - making a name for itself.
The team has come up against six
competitors between Oct 9 and
Oct. 18, and within this period has
rallied up a record of 5-1.
The winning began on Oct. 9 in
a game against Westminster and
late that same day against
Waynesburg. The Behrend

finishing with scores-of 2-0 and
2-1, respectively.
The wins sparked what Coach
Jan Wilson calls a turning point in
the season. Behrend had lost
earlier to Waynesburg, but now
had turned around and handed
Waynesburg their second loss of
the season. Both Waynesburg
and Westminster are district 18
teams, so Behrend will probably
meet both teams again. This, of
course, makes the wins impor
tant.

Coach Wilson has been
delighted with her team’s work
and performance. “They really
work good together as a team.
Everyone understands the role
they play, and are willing to com

We do have many outstanding
players, but more importantly, is
that they’re working together -
