The winning began on Oct. 9 in a game against Westminster and late that same day against Waynesburg. On Oct. 18, Behrend met the Mercyhurst team. Behrend, accor ding to Wilson, “really blew out Mercyhurst.” Behrend took three very lop-sided matches and shut out Mercyhurst, 3-0. Mercyhurst is an NCAA team which comes up against very strong competi tion all year.
