In discussing the origins of the

have been some difficulties in
communication between this

misunderstandings on both

Claridge expressed an ad

announced that the Office of
Student Affairs has approved the
proposals from the Joint
Residence Council regarding

According to a letter received
by George Frola from Dean

with the understanding that each

To insure the most efficient
method of carrying out these
proposals, several stipulations
concerning student conduct will
be put into effect. It is stated that
;visitors must be escorted to and
from a student's room. A sign-in
sheet will be placed on each floor
which must be used when having
a visitor. The sign-in sheet is to

Sue Lawrie (1 - LA - Erie)
thinks that Behrend needs more
involvement, and S.G.A. is her
way of becoming involved. "I'm
interested in the projects that
S.G.A plans to undertake this
year, and I would enjoy working
m them very much."
Pamela Moore (1 - LA - Shef

our dorm and said that if nobody
ran there wouldn't be anything to
do on Behrend Campus...so -I
decided to run.
Lauren O'Leary (1-LA-New
Castle) sees the need for greater
interaction between resident
students and commuters as one of
Behrend's greatest problems.
She would work for more ac
tivities which would unite both
groups. Lauren would also push
for more classes in required
subjects and a better program for
registration."
Doug Russel (1 - Bio. - Erie)
feels that S.G.A. is the way for
him to do something for Behrend
and his fellow students.- Doug
would like to see improvements in
school spirit and the subject
matter taught in classes. .
Rick Saeger (4 - Engin. -
Bethlehem) states that : "I would
like to run for S.G.A. represen
tative because I think there are
things at Behrend that need to be
changed, and I see the S.G.A. as a
means for changing them."
Randy Seidman. (1 - Bus. Ed. -

S.GA. to become involved. "I
think that everyone should be
involved and get alive with
everything. A lot of people
walking around don't give a

I would do a good job."
Barbara Slingland (4 - Bus. -

it better. I'd like to get more
students interested as you know
