News LOCAL NEWS BREAKING NEWS MILLCREEK Two 17-year-old girls miss ing since last Wednesday morning were found by rela tives in Ashtabula, Ohio on Tuesday. Michelle Meitzler and Abiguel Divell had not been seen by their families since early morning Wednesday, when they left on the bus for McDowell High School. Relatives alerted polices in Erie and Millcreek. The police interviewed many of the girls friends in their search. Divell alerted her parents to her location in Ohio and her parents agreed to come and get her. All 75 Wegmans stores will start accepting donations to help victims of the Haiti earth quake starting at 6 p.m. today. The program will run through Jan. 23. Customers can donate money in any amount at checkout. All donations will go to the American Red Cross In ternational Response Fund Haiti Relief, which provides funding for sending relief sup plies, mobilizing relief workers and providing financial re sources. "This is a tragic event that calls for everyone to pitch in and help," Wegmans Chief Ex ecutive Danny Wegman said in a written statement. Oil City The suspect in the triple shooting that killed a Pennsyl vania State Trooper late Wednesday morning died of a gunshot wound to the chin, state police say. Police say they believe the wound was self-inflicted but did not rule out the possibility that Michael J. Smith, 44, was hit by return fire by a second trooper outside his house, at 1432 Bredinsburg Road in Cranberry Township, Venango County. Police had come to the home to investigate a report of a do mestic dispute at 11:48 a.m. They say Smith shot and killed Trooper Paul G. Richey, 40, as Richey approached the home. Police said they believe Smith also killed his wife, Nancy Smith, 53, before turn ing a gun on himself. Casey A. Moore, a student enrolled in nursing at Penn State Behrend, lost control of her car shortly after 9:30 p.m. on Jan. 12, crashing into a tree in North East, ac cording to police reports. Moore, 30, suffered "major injuries," according to the police report, and was 1.
