Penn State Behrend is starting to assess the damage that can potentially amount in his absence. The many clubs and organizations in which he was involved in are starting to move forward. On Nov. 9, Demerec/ was charged with 22 second degree felony counts of possession of child pornography and one first-degree misdemeanor charge of pos sessing an instrument of crime, referring to his computer. As a student, Demerec/ was involved in clubs and organizations such as Matchbox Players. Gamers Club. MISC and Phvsics Club. With tins in mind, the Senior Class Committee has selected the planting of crabapple trees in the entrance to Jordan and Station road as the 2006 Senior Class Gift. The senior class graduat ing in May 2007 donated more than 51,700 to fund the initial planting and nec essary renovations south of the campus entrance gate. Most of the seniors have contributed to this fund. With about 15 members present, the club chose to elect Kristin Woodley the interim vice president for the remainder of the semester. Demerecz was also active in Matchbox Players, a group that performs comedy and improv on cam pus. Representatives of Matchbox Players declined to comment on the matter. According to the office of District Attorney Brad Foulk, no progress has been made on the trial tor Demerecz. After his arraignment in front of North East District Judge Gerry Alonge, Demerecz was sent to Erie County Prison where he is being held on S 50.()()() bond. 810.99 order:
