Over spring break several walls in rooms 10A through 10K were carpeted. These rooms are located downstairs in the Reed Union Building. The proj ect was done to help preserve the walls and proem damage and marks that the wall sustained over a one year period. The idea of the carpeting originally started \\ ith former Director of Student Activities, Chris Rizzo, and former associate director. (now current director), Kris Motta-Torok. Throughout the first year that these walls were constructed, the walls were easily damaged. The plaster on the walls sustained several different markings mostly as a result of chairs rubbing against the walls. Allison Flynn. coordinator for Student Organizations in Program Development, wrote a propos al to the Student Activity Fee to receive funds for the renovations of the walls and proposed carpeting of some of the office walls.
