If you smoke, now is a good time to become a non-smoker. According to the latest edition of the Medical Minute, a service of Penn State Milton S. Before the first Surgeon General's report on the hazards of smok ing in 1964, about half of adult Americans smoked. Fortunately today that num ber is about 22 percent overall.
