He'll discuss the latest news in extra solar planet detection, along with the possibility of life occupying the surfaces of solid worlds in the new planetary systems. The talk will be preceded at 7:10 p.m. by clips from the award winning 'Cosmos" series aired on PBS. The lecture is free and a viewing through the Mehalso Observatory will follow weather permitting.
