Featuring an urban sound and an upcoming fourth album release, Knee Deep Shag’s album “Faded and Live” was voted as the 2002 Musicians Atlas Indepen dent Music Awards winner from the Chicago region. Starting with recognition as a finalist in the 1995 WKLO Rock Music Search, other music awards they have earned include Best Urban Artist/ Group for the 1999 Detroit Music Awards and First Place in the 1999 WGRD Radioactive Band Competition.
