Triangulo features flute, cello and piano music by Latin American composers, including Astor Piazzolla, master of the Nuevo Tango. Triangulo’s music exhibits strong, Latin American rhythm and has been praised for its passionate, lyric perfor mances. Admission is free and open to the public, and all guests are invited to bring a brown bag lunch. PSYCHIC FAIR WITH ROBERT CHANNING AND LION ENTERTAINMENT BOARD The Lion Entertainment Board host a Psychic Fair on Jan 26 from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. in the Reed Wintergarden. Robert Channing, hypno tist, will also be present from 8-9 p.m. that Saturday. The Psychic Fair also features handwriting analysis, palm reading, and fortune telling. The Psychic Fair is funded by the Student Activity Fee. Admission is free. This workshop will show you how to begin preparing for exams every time you open your text book—how to make the most of your in-class and out-of-class time. Topics: critical thinking levels, memory strategies, textbook reading strategies, and note taking techniques, including mind maps and Vee Diagrams. Participation in the Olym pics will support children with cancer. On Friday, teams will check in at 5 p.m. at Erie Hall. A will a torch run will follow at 7 p.m. beginning at the Upper Reed Lot. Saturday includes the following events: Breakfast at 10 a.m. at Erie Hall, followed by the Fastest Snowman Making Contest at 11 a.m., a Snowball Throwing Contest at noon, and a Cross-Country Skiing Race at 1 p.m., all at the Behrend Fields. A barbecue will be given from 2-4 p.m. at Erie Hall. Three more events will follow: a Potato Sack Race at 2 p.m. on the Perry Slopes; a Sled-Pulling Race at 3 p.m. at the Behrend Fields; and an Anything that Slides Race at 4 p.m. on the ski slope. An awards ceremony will follow the events at 5:30 p.m. at Erie Hall.
