New semester, new faces, new by Liz Hayes news editor The freshmen aren't the only new faces wandering around cam pus this fall; there are new faculty members as well. Between the four schools at Penn State Behrend (the School of Business, the School of Humanities and Social Sciences. the School of Engineering and En gineering Technology, and the School of Science), more than 30 faculty have been added to the ros ter. In subsequent issues of the Bea con, we will feature these new members of the Behrend commu nity. Each week a different school's new faculty will be show cased, offering photos and short biographies. This week we begin with the School of Engineering and Engineering Technology. Three people have been added to the SEET staff: Dr. John Roth, assistant professor of mechanical engineering; Xuping Xu, assistant professor of electrical and com puter engineering: and Brian Young, lecturer in plastics engi neering technology. According to Robert S SEET director, the number of new faculty this year is consistent w ith previous years.
