Erie Hall has a lot of tradition, but this new facility is sure to bring brand new traditions, along with winning teams and a revived positive attitude to Behrend. The new water polo and swimming teams will begin to practice in the ARC as soon as it is safe. A diving team is in the future also. The gymnasium will capture action for the volleyball and basketball teams, while proving to be a great place for baseball and golf practice. An indoor track, complete with triple jump and long jump pits, will aid the track team in preparation for upcoming meets. Many new opportunities will arise for exercise and sports activity classes. The athletic office’s new home is on the bottom floor of the ARC. It is a welcome addition to Penn State Behrend.
