The Behrend men's soccer team
improved its record to 4-5-1 with a

allowed the Lions to make up for a
previous 3-0 loss to Carnegie Mellon
and gain momentum as they head into
the heart of a seven game road stretch.
Junior Dan Falk started off the
scoring, with an assist from senior
Aaron Pentz, to give Behrend the

story did not change. The women's
team registered forty-six shots on
goal. Despite the onslaught, the team
managed only six goals, but the score
was an afterthought in a game

over Pitt-Greensburg stretched the
team's winning streak to six in a row
after having dropped two successive
games. Amy Laßocca had two goals
and an assist. Louise Wintegerter
scored a goal in the 88th minute to
cap off the day.
Possibly the most highly
anticipated match took place on
October 3. The Allegheny Lady

the Behrend lions' team in the Great
Lakes poll decided upon by soccer
coaches. Allegheny was actually
ranked nineteenth in the nation
