#l2 Tiffany Buck

especially happy with the progress
that Buck has made. “She is becom
ing a smarter basketball player with
every game that we play.”
Buck averages approximately 7
points per game and collects 2.8 re
bounds per game. As far as defense
goes, Buck is very quick. She aver
ages about 1.1 steals per game. Her
quickness donates greatly to the Lady
Lions’ full court press. With a well
rounded player like Buck on the team
it is no wonder the Lady Lions are
on such a roll.

Coach Fornari believes that Buck is
definitely a leader on the team. “Each
year we give her a different role on
the team and each year she comes
through for us.” Considering there are
no seniors on the team, Buck definitely
had her work cut out for, but has cer
tainly proven herself.
Buck accredits the winning streak
to the team. She says: “The team is
playing well together and with confi
dence.” She also believes that the team
is gelling well together, and has a
promising future.
