Currently, the organization has
about 25 members, mostly education
majors and psychology majors, ac
cording to Forsman. Some of the
members are involved in the five
year Behrend education program. In
this program, students complete a
four-year degree at Behrend and re
ceive their teaching certification
through another year of classes at
Mercyhurst College. Some of the
members plan to transfer to Univer
sity Park to complete their educa-
tion major.
Joining Kappa Delta Pi will give
an education major “a lifetime mem
bership to a well-known, highly re
spected organization,” commented
Forsman.
The group’s next meeting is Octo
ber 6 at 8:00 in the Reed Building.
Fliers will be posted with more in
formation. Interested students can
contact advisors Dr. Kathryn Wolfe,
associate professor of French, or
Mrs. Marcia Janson, lecturer in edu
cation.
