Events On Thursday, November 13, Dr. Jeffrey Pinto presents "Serving Two Masters: Thoughts on Resolving the Rigor vs. Relevance Debate in Business Research" in the Reed Lecture Hall at noon. The presentation is part of the Provost's Speaker Series. The Behrend Speaker Series will continue on Thursday, November 20 at 7:30 p.m. in the Reed Lecture Hall with Adam Werbach's presentation "The Spirit of Volunteerism." Werbach, the youngest president in the history of the Sierra Club, is known for reaching out with new and emerging technology to spread the Sierra Club's conservation message. Prior to his lecture, he will be a special guest at the "Thanksgiving Dinner for Six Strangers." A book signing will follow the lecture. Music at Noon: The Logan Wintergarden Series will continue with a performance by the Amernet String Quartet on Wednesday, November 19 at noon in the Reed Wintergarden. The group, comprised of four young musicians from Japan, the United States, Korea, and Mexico, garnered the first prizes at the Banff International String Quartet Competition and Tokyo International Music Competition, and won grand prize at the Fischoff Chamber Music Competition.
