In fact, Beth Calhoun's outstanding hitting and pitching have earned her this week's Housing and Food Service Athlete of the Week honors. Normally known for her pitching skills, Calhoun has been making a lot of noise with her hot bat the past six games. She has a six game hit streak that includes ten hits, five doubles and eight RBl's and an amazing .682 on-base percentage. "One of my goals coming into this year was to improve my hitting," Beth says.
