Tirado, now in her third year of SGA service, questioned the dedication and seriousness with which some members are handling their positions, but did not voice a persona) attack against any SGA member. The SGA has not been the active voice that it is supposed to be so far this year, according to Tirado. "1 feel that all the work I’ve done for SGA... I don’t want that to be lost," she said. Commuter Council President Steve Landon also spoke out against shirking of responsibility within SGA. Landon thinks that SGA should present itself in more of a professional manner. "I'd like to be proud of what SGA does this year,” he said. "I just don't think the SGA executive board is very organized right now." President Mike Woycheck responded to the concerns by pledging his increased dedication. Tm as serious as anyone else when it comes to this organization," Woycheck said. "I'll take everything said here tonight and attempt to make SGA more professional." After returning to the scheduled agenda, SGA heard details about the new student activity fee, whose concept was unanimously accepted on Friday by a board of trustees. Although elections are Thursday, SGA accepted a new Commuter Senator, Anthony Ricciardo. Since there were three Commuter Senator seats without candidates to fill them, the post is not up for election. However, the two remaining vacant seats may be filled by write-in balloting. Correction: The motion to officially change the number of Resident and Commuter Senator seats in last week's meeting was withdrawn.
