Murphy Collegian Staff Recently, students have voiced dissatisfaction with the food prices in the Wintergreen Cafe, commonly referred to as the “Gorge.” The opinions of students range from: “they’re extremely high” to “they suck.” Ed Moffinger, director of Housing and Food Services, said that the “Gorge’s” prices are understandable. “Housing and Food Services is self-supporting. We do not receive funding from Penn State University,” he said. Except for a few items that are pre-priced by the manufacturers, H & F Services sets the prices of the food items. Moffinger has compared the prices in the “Gorge” to other restaurants. “We try to make an honest effort to stay in line with the prices,” said Moffinger. He also graduated from Cathedral Preparatory School in Erie. Entertainment Woznicki is secretary of the radio club, works on a volunteer basis at WPSE, and is a faithful patron of the Back Room in the Reed Building.
