Page 4 Editorial... Today is a big day for Behrend, you know, the little college with the big degree. First of all, the former vice president of the United States and loser of the national spelling bee will be lecturing in Erie Hall. Secondly, film crews will complete their second of three days of filming the campus. They are producing a three minute piece to air during halftime of Penn State's Big Ten men's and women's basketball games. Yes, that is correct; our campus: not that supposed "main one" in central Pennsylvania. Behrend College is beginning to make huge strides to make a name for itself. The Collegian, University Park campus newspaper staff frequently calls us for information about Behrend events. Through aggressive activity planning and a stress for positive student life, Behrend has been able to gain national aclaim such as being honored for its speaker series. There are other things to be proud of. One needs only to look at the buildings that have recently sprung up on campus. It was amusing to see alumni during Parents and Families Weekend gawking at the library, dining hall or engineering complex. We should be proud of our college and happy that we are able to have days like these. ATTENTION ALL READERS: We want to know what you think of your paper!
