January 12 - It was reported that several weights were stolen from the Erie Hall weightroom. Leads are being followed up in this case. January 13 - Police and Safety officers and Student Affairs staff recovered stolen street signs from a student in Lawrence Hall. The signs will be returned to the owner and further action is pending. January 14 - A student received a harassing phone call. This case is similar to others and will remain open. January 15 - Police and Safety officers arrested a visitor in the residence area lots for public intoxication and other violations. This case is pending court action. January 15 - The bookstore reported a retail theft. Leads are being followed in this case. January 17 - A student was escorted from the Nick 116 Computer lab after refusing to leave. Action is pending. Bill Donahue, the new director of Police and Safety, will be attending next week's SGA meeting. Due to the lateness of the Student Phone Directories, SGA has decided to cancel the directories for this year and use the money for the directories next year. We apologize for this inconvenience. Next year the phone directories should be out much earlier due to a new computer program that will speed up the process.
