It is hoped that this f future of the Prkhh will especially cornuiend it not only to the churoh people but to the general publio, which should take more iu torest In such nritters, and it is with a de.sigu of arousing increased nctivity in the community in this direction that the pastors avail themselves of this means of reach ing that large audience those who are not regular church attendants, but whom it is earnestly desired may become suoh. . Several names were voted at the recent primary for the office of dis trict attorney. There was no can didate on the ticket but in some townships a few voters kindly re meuibered the editor of the Phkss. To such we are sincerely grateful for the recognition but having bo frequently figured on tho ticket in the past we do not think it advisa ble at this time to consent to re main. We hopa all our friends will be loyal in support of all the names and make as large a showiug of votes ns poesiblo. Now that the republican primary is over and the sharp contest ended lot the party get together. We are all food republicans though wo may have our decided opinions on mat ters arising within tho fold. Let bygones by buriel and let as pre sent a solid front to our oldtime foe. The experience guined by some in the recent battle should ba valuable in controlling their future conduct but now that the war is past let us all unity in a friendly spirit for the common weal of the grand old party.
