The Yankees defeated the Astros, 6-3. BANDITS LACROSSE 1/8 girls team rallies for four victories Goalie Jordan Kelly saves four, scores four against Saucon Valley team. The Back Mountain Ban- dits Girls 7/8 grade lacrosse team was busy this past week. Back Mountain 13 Saucon Valley 6 The Bandits dominated the Saucon Valley Panthers, tak- ing a 13-6 victory. Starting goalie Jordan Kel- ly saved four of eight shots in the first half and scored four goals from the attack position in the second half. Hannah Stull also scored four goals and had one assist while Aly- sa Adams tallied three goals with two assists. Mallory Wilson added two goals of her own with an as- sist. Julia Baloh, Kennedy Straitiff, Hunter Pittman and Brigid Wood each had assists. Baloh played goalie in the second half, turning away all but two shots. Back Mountain 14 Lower Macungie 4 The Bandits travelled to Al- lentown and came away with their first victory ever against a tough Lower Macungie pro- gram with a 14-4 win. Hannah Stull led the of- fense with five goals and three assists. Jordan Kelly, Alyssa Adams and Hailee Du- mont scored two goals each while Mallory Wilson and JillViercinski each added a tally. Julia Baloh had two as- sists. The defensive unit, consist- ing of Kennedy Straitiff, Da- nielle McCole, Amanda Mill- er and led by team co-captain Katie Stemrich, held the op- ponent to just five shots on goal. Back Mountain 9 Eaton A 4 The Back Mountain 7/8 girls continued their winning ways by beating Easton A, 9-4. Jordan Kelly shut out the Red Rovers while in goal the first half. In the second half, Kelly managed to score a game-high five goals. Alyssa Adams added three tallies and an assist while Mallory Wilson had a goal and an assist. Hannah Stull added two assists to help the Bandits sweep the season se- ries against Easton. Back Mountain 7 Easton B 12 In the B game, Julia Hutsko and Hailee Dumont had three goals each while Danielle McCole and Claudia Leu each had an assist. Grace Butler had five saves in goal for the Bandits. Dallas tennis team The Dallas High School tennis team picked up four victories in the past week.
