Premiere level training from a profes- sional and licensed coaching staff is offered with a strong emphasis on individual player development. Participants born after August 1, 1997 are eligible to try out. Regis- tration fees will be waived for players chosen from the tryout sessions. Soccer booster club plans craft show for March 29 The Dallas Boys Soccer Booster Club will hold its Spring Craft Show from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, March 29, at the Dallas Senior High School. “Over 100 vendors from PA, NY and NJ will sell hand-crafted items such as jewelry, wooden items, candles, East- er and spring decorations, doll clothes and homemade candy and fudge. Another DMS ca It has become almost commonplace for the Dallas eighth grade boys basket- ball team to win championships and this year is no different. The Mountaineers, led by coach Dr. John Ellis, defeated Crestwood, 21-16, Tuesday evening at Wyoming Seminary to capture their fifth straight overall Wyoming Valley Eighth Grade Boys Basketball Conference championship. Ellis has coached the Dallas team for the past six years and has led the team to an 84-7 overall record over the past five years. The team currently has a 40-game winning streak. Tuesday's victory was led by Jason Si- monovich who dumped in nine points. Brian Stepniak, John Murray and Danny Saba all had four points each while point guard Ryan Zapoticky directed the of- fense.
